A Year of Organic Turf Care Growth + What’s Coming in 2026

December 22, 2025

As another year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the joys, challenges, and growth we’ve shared together in 2025 organic turf care. This year was full of family memories, meaningful connections with our customers, and opportunities to help landscapes thrive the natural way.

PJC’s 2025 Family Highlights

2025 wasn’t just a big year for growing our business, it was one full of growing our family…

  • Pam and Fred spent endless hours playing with their seven grandkids (including two new baby girls who joined the crew this year).
  • The Newcombe Home welcomed a new foster teen, bringing a fun and joyful new dynamic to the family.
  • Despite age, work, and famiiy, Fred and Peter still biked countless miles around the North Shore.
  • Collette’s family bought a new home in Vermont! — all while she juggled remote work and raising two little ones.

PJC’s 2025 Business Highlights

This year brought exciting developments, new products, great customers, and lots of turf care insights.

**New Product:   PJC’s 5-0-12 All-Natural Turf Fertilizer**

We launched PJC’s 5-0-12 All-Natural Turf Fertilizer, formulated with double the potassium of many of our other all-natural turf fertilizers. Potassium is a critical macronutrient that:

  1. Strengthens turf grass cell walls
  2. Improves resistance to drought, disease, and stress
  3. Enhances root development
  4. Prepares turf to withstand the rigors of winter better

This formula gives your soil the potassium boost it needs for healthier, greener results come spring, paired with a low, slow-release water-insoluble nitrogen source. It’s an excellent end-of-season 4th application option for turf programs gearing up for winter.

2025 Customer Spotlights + Stories We Loved

We had the pleasure of sharing stories and feedback from customers who are doing great work with organic turf care:

These stories reaffirm why we do what we do: turf health powered by soil biology and smart practices, not shortcuts.

Turf Care Throughout the Year

This year’s blog content covered practical, seasonal guidance for organic programs and reflected the landscape challenges and opportunities of 2025.

From understanding soil chemistry and biology to why soil testing matters. Spring tips focused on mowing practices and early summer turf care tactics to promote strong, resilient lawns. Watering practices, weed management, equipment effects on turf, and grub activity. Closing out the summer, late-fall turf tips, fall product recommendations, and guidance on turf blankets, over seeding, lime, and regional drought insights.

  • Schools & Municipalities — customized organic turf programs that fit your budget and schedule, and make your community landscapes as responsible as they are resilient.
