PJC ProHealthy Turf 6-0-6
Our most popular fertilizer! OMRI listed 6-0-6 is a great choice for residential lawns, parks and low input athletic fields. The water insoluble nitrogen keeps turf happy for 6-8 weeks and requires 3-4 applications depending on use. The plant-based organic nitrogen with added sulfate of potash gives your turf the balanced nutrition it needs. An excellent all-purpose, all-natural organic fertilizer that can be used throughout the growing season.
PJC ProHealth Turf 6-0-1
Same as our 6-0-6 but without sulfate of potash. A more cost effective option for lawns that don’t need the potassium. Can be used anytime but we feel the best use is Spring and Late Summer (we like to get some “K” down early summer and fall).
PJC ProHealthy Turf 7-0-2+
Our 7-0-2+ product is a 2-in-1 fertilizer and soil conditioner. We’ve added humates and molasses to help increase the soil’s nutrient holding capacity while also providing a short and medium nitrogen feed for the turf. Best use – Spring and Late Summer (we like to get some “K” down early summer and fall).
PJC ProHealthy Turf Soil Conditioner – BOOST+S3
A soil conditioner and bio stimulant used to improve soil chemistry, soil biology, and soil structure. It is made from plant proteins and essential minerals (calcium, sulfur, and iron) plus 2.75% humate. Iron is fundamental to chlorophyll production and photosynthesis, and thus improves turf vibrancy and resilience without excessive foliar growth. In addition, plant proteins provide a stable food source for soil biology. Its high mineral composition is meant to decrease compaction and added humates increase nutrient holding capacity. A great product to start and end your season with.

PJC ProHealthy Turf Grass Seed Blends—
Our premium blends have been evaluated by PJC Organic using the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP). PJC offers a variety of premium and professional seed blends to suit your site, budget and time of year. Diverse turf stands will give you the most resilient lawn or field. Our goal is to grow healthy lawns and athletic fields that outcompete weeds, and the only way to do that is to get desirable turf grass growing. Take a look at our seed descriptions:
TriRye Perennial Ryegrass
Known for quick germination (5-7 days), good wear tolerance, average nutritional needs, fair heat tolerance but poor shade and drought tolerance. Goes dormant in summer heat and drought.
Turf Type Tall Fescue:
Average germination (10-14 days), very good drought tolerance, good wear, shade, and heat tolerance. Turf type tall requires less nutritional needs but does not compete well in established turf so use a blend with high % TTTF and lower perennial rye or Kentucky blue. Can do dormant in the summer but its outstanding heat tolerance keeps a tall canopy in irrigated lawns keeps performance going all summer – the prime time to compete against undesired weed species.
Fine Fescue
Average germination (10-14 days), excellent in shade, low nutritional needs, very good in drought, fair heat tolerance but low wear tolerance. Not for sunny areas.
Kentucky Bluegrass
Slow germination (21-28 days), good wear tolerance, highest nutritional needs, fair in heat, poor shade and drought tolerance. Can be difficult to establish in spring. Kentucky blue performs best in early summer and fall – it will avoid dormancy is well irrigated lawns over the summer.
